The Cambridge Chronicle.*  1865 to 2009 on microfilm.  The Cambridge Chronicle is a weekly newspaper that serves Cambridge.  Founded in 1846, it is the oldest surviving weekly newspaper in the United States. 

The City of Cambridge Directories.*
  1861 to 1976 on microfilm.  The Directories include information on Cambridge residents, businesses, city departments, city government, public schools, etc.  They also include information on private organizations and enterprises, such as colleges, banks, cemeteries, etc.  There is Massachusetts census information as well as advertisements from local businesses. 

The City of Cambridge Street Listings.*  1861 to 1990 on microfilm.  This publication list the residents of each street in Cambridge, including their occupation, nationality if not a U.S. Citizen, and year of birth.  The street listings are organized by street not by the resident’s last name.
